Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Your journey kicks off in Kathmandu, the vibrant and bustling heart of Nepal. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be greeted by the vibrant chaos of the city. Spend the day exploring Kathmandu’s cultural heritage sites such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and the historic Durbar Square. Enjoy your first taste of Nepali cuisine in the evening with a traditional dinner.

Day 2: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,550m)
Early in the morning, embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the Langtang trek. The journey takes about 7-8 hours, winding through picturesque landscapes and terraced fields. Upon arrival, rest and prepare for the trek ahead.

Day 3: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m)
The trek begins with a gentle climb along the Langtang Khola (river). You’ll pass through dense forests of oak and rhododendron, encountering small Tamang villages along the way. After approximately 6 hours of trekking, you’ll reach Lama Hotel, a cozy teahouse nestled in the forest.

Day 4: Trek to Langtang Village (3,430m)

Today’s trek takes you higher into the mountains, with the landscape gradually opening up to reveal stunning views of snow-capped peaks. After 6-7 hours of trekking, you’ll arrive at Langtang Village, a settlement rich in history and culture. Tragically, this village was heavily affected by the 2015 earthquake, but the resilience and spirit of the people here are truly inspiring.

Day 5: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m)
A shorter trek today, just 3-4 hours, brings you to Kyanjin Gompa, the spiritual center of the Langtang region. En route, you’ll pass through yak pastures and see ancient mani walls adorned with Tibetan inscriptions. At Kyanjin Gompa, visit the monastery and the local cheese factory, where you can sample delicious yak cheese.

Day 6: Acclimatization and Exploration Day
Take a day to acclimatize and explore the area around Kyanjin Gompa. For the adventurous, a hike to Tserko Ri (4,985m) offers panoramic views of the Langtang range. Alternatively, visit the nearby glaciers and enjoy the serene beauty of the high Himalayas.

Day 7: Trek back to Lama Hotel
Begin your descent, retracing your steps back to Lama Hotel. The journey down offers a different perspective on the landscape, with ample opportunities to spot wildlife and enjoy the natural beauty of the Langtang Valley.

Day 8: Trek to Syabrubesi
Continue descending through the forested trails, enjoying the tranquility and the sounds of the river. After 5-6 hours of trekking, you’ll arrive back in Syabrubesi, where you can celebrate the completion of your trek.

Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu
Say goodbye to the mountains and take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Spend your final evening exploring more of Kathmandu’s vibrant streets, shopping for souvenirs, or enjoying a well-deserved massage at one of the city’s many spas.

Day 10: Departure
With your heart full of memories and your camera full of stunning photos, it’s time to bid farewell to Nepal. Head to the airport for your departure, already dreaming of your next adventure.
